Keats Loft is a charming self contained holiday apartment situated within Keats House, in the heart of the historic fishing port of Teignmouth and only a few paces from the famed river beach with its many attractions. Positioned on the second floor of Keats House, a delightful Georgian town house (where the great romantic poet John Keats lived in the year 1818), the loft offers comfortable and stylish self catering accommodation for two persons. Created in 2012 and giving generous living space, access to the apartment is through the main house. It offers a spacious lounge with a view across the estuary to Shaldon, a built-in kitchenette with ceramic hob, sink & drainer with mixer taps, fridge, microwave oven, toaster & electric kettle, 3 seater sofa and matching armchair, dining table & chairs, digital freeview television & dab / cd hifi, as well as secured wi-fi broadband access. The bedroom has twin beds, chest of draws and ample hanging space for clothes. There is a 'quirky' bathroom with varying ceiling heights and stylish fittings comprising bath, w.c. & top mounted wash basin on vanity stand with illuminated mirror above. All towels, bed linen and a hair dryer are provided along with local maps & guides. Parking is available close by at several 'pay & display' public car parks. Please be aware that as this is a very old building, there is no lift ! A 'get you going' welcome pack is provided for guests on arrival.
